Maple & almond popcorn bars:
We worked with the lovely Charley’s Health, to come up with some fab recipes using our popcorn. These maple & almond popcorn bars are delicious and so easy to make. They make a lovely pudding or snack.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp almond butter
3 tbsp maple syrup / honey
1/2 cup almonds
20g salted maple popcorn
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp maple syrup / honey
Method:
- Heat the coconut oil, maple syrup & almond butter in a pan and stir together.
- Roughly chop the almonds combine these with the popcorn. Pour over the syrup mix and stir well so that everything is evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into a lined container and press everything down to create a smooth surface.
- Leave this in the freezer for an hour to set.
- To make the chocolate drizzle, melt the coconut oil and mix in the maple syrup and cacao powder. Remove the bars from the freezer and slice into pieces.
- Drizzle the chocolate over the top and sprinkle some extra popcorn on top. Enjoy!
